Come on Bro. Shut up? On the one hand you want decency in posting. Then on the other you want license to be offensive. Which way do you really want it?

I have no problem with usnig the terminology of "reprobate" if it is indeed meant TIC. I have had it appled to me in such a way and have never gotten offended over it.
If we lose the terminology and rhetoric around here then this place will become as exciting as watching cars rust and dirt dry.

I respectfully disagree. When we view someone as lost or saved we are usually speaking of their present condition. To be reprobate is to be without hope. It is to say that God has turned His back on that soul and given up on them.
What if the person levelling the charge of "reprobate" causes that person to believe that their situation truly is hopeless when all the while God is still reaching for them?

Don't worry about it - on the other thread he said he didn't call anyone a reprobate.

Oh that is not nearly as offensive as sentencing someone to Hell for all eternity Brother. That OP could stand as judge, jury and executioner is unconscionable.
Why do you always defend that junk and yet rail at me over petty issues?

PP. the terminology you use on this board sometimes needs a bit of tweaking too.
"Shut-up" is a very severe term that is at hand now.
We are TRYING to find some common ground, not win ground with casualties.

The only thing I can say, which I continue to say, is if the term is obviously TIC it should not be an issue. Lost is lost. Who cares waht term is applied? I do understand the hopelessness of the reprobate term, but I still think it can be used in a humorous way around here and no one should get all up in arms over it. JMO. We all have them.

I might be able to buy the TIC if he hadn't of said he felt the fear of the Lord when he read some of the posts on here.
Was that TIC too?

Perhaps, but I have never said God didn't love someone. Has given up on them. Had turned His back on them. That they were hopeless.

Oh never mind. If you cannot see by now that those involved felt the term was used humorously then there will be no convincing you. I do hope that you realize by your continued diatribe you are bordering on calling us liars. Oh well...
Furhter, the reason I did not jump OP is because I agree with his take on the reprobate thing. He offered an apology to those offended. What more do you want? Perhaps you should formally ask Admin to ban the word "reprobate" from the Forum?
And by the way, you do iss the times I call folks hands on things. And no, I am not going to go and find a specific instance just to prove it. I know my heart and will rest well tonight.
