RN, seek the Lord and continue to study the Word, that is what the Holy Spirit in your life is all about. Just because God is leading you in a new way that might include leaving the UPC does not in any way mean that you are rebellious or disrespectful. You are responsible to hear from God for His direction in your life, if you cannot walk in peace and confidence with your current church after carefully and honestly seeking the Lord, then it is quite clear that He has a new direction for you. If you know you have heard from the Lord, get moving don't let what anyone says hinder you. If you don't obey God when He speaks, He will just bring you around again until you obey, or else you will not progress further until you do obey. REMEMBER: LEAVING A LOCATION DOES NOT EQUATE LEAVING GOD. He may have shaped you to fit in another place in the body of Christ.

It is very sickening to see those that consume themselves in holiness are so un-kind to there own brethren and make a mock at love, grace and mercy.
