On December 8, one of the protesters entered Freddy's, shot four employees, and set the store on fire, killing seven. Sharpton denied his involvement had anything to do with the incident.

Why do you defend this guy and pretend his blatant racism never occurred and then pretend Michelle Malkin is racist when you can't even find a single quote to back it up?

And as for Malkin...Jermyn Davidson already touched on in this in a previous post , but let me expand on it somewhat. Pay close attention here:

No she didn't. In that book she calls Roosevelt's WW2 policies "racist." She calls the indiscriminate detention policy "racist." We've already discussed the apparent error of using the unnecessary and inflammatory title as an argument. Read the book. Show me where I'm wrong.

Now, I haven't read the book - I'm just taking Wikipedia's description of its contents at face value. If you can provide a chapter and page reference that I can take to a book store or library I'd be very interested in that. From what I've read about the book it does try to dispel the "myth" that the Japanese internment camps were Nazi style concentration camps.

I grew up near the site of a couple of those camps and many former detainees resettled into the area - and were welcomed. My sister married into a family that includes descendants of detainees. For me this "myth" Malkin tries to dispel is more of a figment of someone's imagination. And she rightly calls the policy "racist" while apparently also trying to show that the Japanese alone were not the targets of Roosevelt's policies.
