Re: Your NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
Many people are too caught up with what the scale says. They want to lose 'x' amount of weight/pounds in hopes to be thinner, healthier, better looking, or whatever the motivation. The biggest thing that I tell people is to pick a pant size, dress size, shirt size they want to be. Then buy that size and work until you get there. After it is obtained go for a new goal whether it is maintaining that size of going smaller. The key here is that losing weight altogether will not always get you into that size you wanted.
Example, if a lady is a size 18, lets say. She wants to wear this black outfit that is a size 8, but the skirt is an A-line skirt. If she as an 18 is shaped like a pear if she loses the weight to get to that 8 doesn't matter cause she will look like a smaller pear. In order to fit into that A-line skirt and everything the body has to change and real change only happens with diet, exercise and some weight training. A pear shaped person male or female especially can't become a carrot by only losing weight. Weightlifting is a big, big key in losing weight and changing ones body. Look at the Biggest Loser TV program. Those people eat and exercise. If they only ate right they would not end up the way the are at the finale.
Small fact: on women fat takes up 5 times as much space on their frame than muscle. So if you were to weigh 200 lbs, but it be 40% or greater body fat then you might be a size 20+, but if it were 200 in lean muscle you would not look like a mountain of muscle, but look toned and healthy you might wear and size8 or 10--depending the shape of your body form.

Well, it's time to get to steppin'. The only one you can't change is the last one. I assume you are about 5ft 6in? from what I recall....
that's a pretty good height for a lady.
