Well lets see,God opens the doors because he wan't everyone to hear truth. But I have been thrown out of assemblies after a few words of truth,then some just say oh me I think hes right. The blind can't see but only those those who have ears to hear can hear.

God stil has churches alive and well today who are doing His perfect will. Anyone who is in contact with God can be led by Him to get involved in one wherever they are.

Saints should be encouraged to learn how to pray, wait on God and hear Him for themselves, learn how to discern the voice of God and to understand what He's speaking both through His Spirit and through His Word.
But there is absolute need for a pastor as well. Sheep need a shepherd. This is the will of God and part of the reason for a church and spiritual leaders within the church. But that doesn't negate a believer needing and able to hear from God for themselves.
