One cliche after another.... the crowd is usually wrong, those who respond to certain posts are guilty ones. Any more cliches? "Ye shall learn the cliche's and the cliche shall make you free."

Re: Facts Found~The Early Church and Standards~

I am thinking of starting a crusade against cliches. Of course I use them myself sometimes, but seriously - I get so tired of cliches being thrown out as THE ANSWER anytime you try to have a serious discussion with someone about issues. It's so incredibly frustrating.

You can deliver a long, well thought-out, impassioned speech....... and have it knocked to the ground by a cliche, and the person thinks they really nailed you.

You said the crowd is usually wrong. That inference did not qualify the crowd, making the majority statement about dress that introduced this thread something you could claim was error simply because you noted the term CROWD, and thought any crowd is usually wrong. By the same token, not considering the context, but simply seeing the CROWD< Rev 7's CROWD must be wrong too. You gave no distinction nor qualification for that claim you made, which is why you got the responses you did.

The point is, a cliche cannot be thrown to the table anytime a CROWD is mentioned by saying the crowd is usually wrong. There are far more details and qualifiers that must be considered that you simply did not make. So I showed you the illogic of that reasoning by finding a CROWD that did not fall in your category to make that point. Perhaps you missed the point.
Since the cliche is mine and you feel the necessity to respond to my simplistic posts I will humor you again. Their is a BIG difference between a crowd in the presence of God, and a worldly crowd that thinks they are okay. I can point out more instances where the crowd (who wasn't in the presence of God) was the WRONG crowd than you can point out that the crowd was right.

AWWWWW. you think this is about cliches? Why respond? any of ya. Why get upset or disappointed if that is all that they are.

everyone feel free to gang up on me, doesn't make you right just like it never makes any crowd right. You guys seem to rather have Barabbas than Jesus.....lol.

Wait! I gotta an idea! why don't we all go to hell since that is where most everyone (the crowd) is going anyway. They the crowd interpret scriptures as non literal, so why don't we?

You guys are pathetic and you make me sick.

now we are at the heart of the matter. not your crowds def of holiness... so we're the wrong crowd, the worldly crowd, and not in the presence of God.
