I am from Arizona and in my state similar prophecies have been given. So it appears that bothy Alaska and Arizona are to be refudge. check this out:
http://j.b5z.net/i/u/2081645/h/Napol...hetic_Word.htm
January 2007
Prophetic Word for:
The Honorable Janet Napolitano
Governor of Arizona
Through:
Robert J. Winters
President, GateKeepers International Prophetic Network
For the Lord would say, “Secure the South Gate, for I am opening the West Gate of Arizona. For you have only begun to see but a trickle from the west that will soon become a flood of multitudes seeking refuge from the shaking that is to come. For the ring of fire shall begin to rumble, and the threat of destruction will fling the west gate wide open for many to exit the Golden State. Arizona shall become the state of refuge that I have ordained it to be, and many more shall come seeking hope and a new beginning. Will you be ready for them when I send them?”
“For I have through Katrina given you but a foretaste of Arizona’s high calling to become a bastion of refuge and restoration. I have strategically planted “Joseph’s” all around you to help you wisely plan and prepare to house, clothe, feed, and employ thousands in every Arizonan city of refuge. I have given you the form and model of unity and will give you the favor to work with the marketplace and the ministries to make your dream a reality for many. For one man, one organization, one ministry, one business, one government cannot do it alone. Within three years the model must become a functioning reality in every major Arizonan city. Get ready, for the glory days of Arizona are quickly approaching”, says the Lord.”
(The preceding prophetic word compliments the prophetic insights highlighted in the “The Valley of the Son” book, chapters 14 and 15, by Robert J. Winters)

I have no confidence in Peter Wagners claim to Apostleship. I doubt anyone on this forum thinks he is.

Here is my opinion and it has been for some time. Democrats are not going to do what needs to be done for things to work out as needed in the middle east. If she believes this "theology" that you speak of and it scares you then maybe you are not ready for things to start to come to a head. I say if she is the one that is needed and if that way of thinking is needed to get things ready for the bride to be raptured out of here then more power to her and to dominion theology. I look forward to the day when we are taken from this world to be with Him forever.
I have said for years that it will take a Republican with a STRONG church back ground to do what needs to be done for things to fall into place.
Go ahead accuse me of dominion theology. Never heard of it before now and don't really care. I still believe that God can come back for his bride at any time but if I follow the scriptures it sure looks to me like a few things need to take place in the middle east for the anti-Christ to step onto the scene. If it takes an AoG raised trinity pentecostal girl to get it accomplished then let go Sarah. Get it done so we can be taken out of here.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus

Dominion theology believes the church will build God's kingdom on earth withou Jesus. I will put the first and last paragraph of the article above in the link provided to explain further:
'First is the Christian Reconstruction movement, led by such men as Gary North and R.J. Rushdoony. Almost unknown 30 years ago, Reconstructionsim is now influencing the evangelical Church. Its leadership is aggressive, with a Postmillennialist call for Christians to take over the world before Christ can return. Postmillennialism teaches the kingdom of God is now being extended in the world by preaching the Gospel, so that the world will be Christianized during this nonliteral Millennium. Its goal is for a worldwide conquest by Christianity to take over the world for Christ. In their view, this is to be done by the Church, while Christ the King is absent from the earth, something which the Bible simply does not teach. Associated with a small number of think tanks and book publishers, Reconstructionists advocates call for the imposition of an Old Testament style theocracy, complete with capital punishment for serious offenses like adultery, homosexuality, and blasphemy. '
'During the first three centuries of the apostolic Church, which was clearly Premillennial not Postmillennial, "reconstructing society" was never entertained. Christ clearly taught "My kingdom is not of this world" ( John 18:36). The Bible teaches us that the world will become more corrupt in the last days, then after the Tribulation period Christ will return and establish His millennial kingdom. Reigning over the whole earth from Jerusalem, His Capital, Israel will be made the leader of the nations, and the Church will reign with Him for a "literal" thousand years. The Church is never commanded to subdue the earth on its own, this simply will not happen until Christ returns. The Church's main responsibility is evangelism and discipleship, not political activism. Our call as believers is to change people through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not to change society through social reformation. '

Re: Sarah Palin, Todd Bentley, and Dominion Theolo
I found this online and thought it is interesting as it talks about the prophecies that some believe are related to Palin and Alaska. It is written by someone who attends Dutch Sheet's church. Dutch Sheet is next in line to be the head of the prophetic movement that Peter Wagner is involved in. I thought it was interesting to read including the comments:
http://bonya.wordpress.com/2008/09/0...n-sarah-palin/
Below is part of the letter to give you a taste of its contents:
"I believe you are aware that Dutch was used by the Lord to call prayer before the 2000 Bush election that was so close. He said this morning that this election is perhaps even more critical than 2000, because of the Supreme Court. If the right political posture is not elected, we stand to lose decades of progress and the repurcussions are enormous."
How much emphasis or faith do you all have in the prophetic, especially from those high in this prophetic movement. (ICA and NAR)

I think the prophetic is very important in the Kingdom of God. The men you are writing about to me dont seem like Prophets. For one thing what have they prophesied that came to pass? Beyond that they dont comprehend Oneness doctrine and other important foundation truths so I am skeptical of their claims.
Of course some of these "high sounding Prophets and Apostles" may have the Spirit and just still resisting its work in their lives. I like to try to find something positive there if possible.
