Renda,
That is a good point. There was a woman that was pursuing my FIL after his wife died. My FIL's wife always wore dresses and this other woman just wasn't classy at all.

In the course of our conversation he told me that many older woman wear pants because they are ashamed of their legs. I had never thought about that before. It made me feel bad that I had felt that way about her. I guess you live and learn, huh?

Exactly, "relevance" is scary taking it in the wrong direction of what is really relevant.

McCain is SUCH a politician.... just a politician.
1399,
We are geared to think that - politician - and rightly so, in some aspects.

It just so happens that the political move was also a good logical business move on this one. Sometimes political moves can be good.

Agreed.... to an extent.

I still think Obama is different from other politicians.

And I also agree it is a VERY SMART decision on McCain's behalf. I told this lady I was speaking to last night that at one time Palin was a potential choice for McCain-- but she didn't believe me.

I wonder what the Republicans will wear? Cindy is always a classy dressed women, even when she's casual.

he only started wearing that flag pin after all the talk of him being so anti-american.....the pin suddenly appeared but it was just to shut up the critics.

remember back when he was getting flack for not putting his hand over his heart during the pledge?
