You weren't ridiculed over what you asked, because you didn't ask us. What you (or you wife) were "ridiculed" over, by me, was the smart remark about thinking that pastors would know anything but Bible.

Maybe next time you start a thread you could say something to the effect of "I have a question that I want answered by a pastor but it's not spiritual" or something like that.

I'm really glad you have someone you respect and trust to go to for spiritual stuff. But don't assume, we, as pastors know nothing more than "spiritual" stuff, that was a jab at some that I respect and trust.

Oh, I don't know, Brother. There are some things I think are good for throwing out there, just to see the kind of advice you get. There are some people around here I wouldn't have a problem with asking some spiritual advice from, but I would do it privately. What strikes me as funny is why anyone would freak out over you asking for spiritual advice, even if that were your intent. You would think that if people were concerned over it causing you a problem then they'd make sure to offer you some good advice, rather than go into convulsions. Anyway, that's AFF for ya. Ya never know what's gonna happen next! I can't wait to see where you start trouble next!

I am not going to say because it is nobody's business unless I discuss it with that person. If I sound mean, I am not meaning it that way, but I do believe in being real with people and I am straight and to the point.

Hmmm, I really don't see any jabs going on, he ask for a pastor, I didn't read anything more into it. As for bitterness, well, I didn't see any of that here !
