The adds are pointing to a fact that even many liberals have seen. Obama has become very arrogant due to the attention he has been given. McCain is doing what any smart politician would do. He is pointing out the fact that being popular does not make one qualified to be president.

Even many of the liberal press that has spent a lot of time with Obama has been sickened by his level of arrogance.

The democrats are always saying how the republicans are mean and all they do is attack. The Dem's should not give them so much ammo to work with.

Obama has done something worse then running an add pointing out someones arrogance. He has preemptively accused McCain of racism by pointing to the fact that Obama is black.
To be accused of this is worse then anything McCain has done.
My whole point is that maybe then he ought to spend the millions of dollars on ads that do actually at least broach these issues that Obama will lose on. Anything less seems desperate and will do little to affect a lot of people.

I have never heard him accuse McCain of racism. I would really appreciate that direct quote. I heard him today specifically say that he did not feel like the McCain campaign is racist (and I am certain that I can find that direct quote)

Here is the video. By the way, this speech by Obama was made here in Springfield, about 1 mile from my house.

My sound card is messed up at my house, but I'll be in the office within the hour so I will listen then and respond.
