If ministers and churches hadn't been practicing sloppy reporting and exaggeration for decades, then people wouldn't be so apt to question reports of miracles. We've undermined ourselves with dishonesty and embellishment. Sad.

I see the results of it in myself, when any "prophecy" goes forth--I immediately question it in my head. Why? Because false prophesies abound, and it's hard to tell the true from the false many times, or the sensationalists from the legitimate prophets.

I KNOW PERSONALLY the medical people who attended Sister Freeman.

I ate lunch today with my two sisters who were THERE. They both agreed on what happened... as told by others here.

I also know the GI speical forces guy who is a trained EMT who said "I have seen lots of dead people and she was dead."

Now, did they have a brain wave monitor on hand? well of course not. But they did have medical training and the nurses and EMT that attended her said she had no pulse and her pupils were fixed and dialated.
Ok, whatever you say. However, the daughter I talked to stays in close contact with Sandra, the daughter who cares for Sis. Freeman...I'm pretty sure Sandra would tell her Sister if their Mother was dead, even for a short period of time.

Its all good Carey. I am not trying to make an issue here. it just seemed that your reply spoke to a different issue.

Lady Coonskinner spoke to sister Freeman and cofirmed the story.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that anyone else is lying about what happened. I do think it's possible that people thought she had died when she hadn't, however.

You know, I should have known from past experience to call Sandra or Sis. Freeman myself, but since I was at her other daughter's home I thought she'd be a most reliable resource.

I am thankful to God that Sis. Freeman is alright, she's a most amazing woman of God.

Well if others doubt.........one thing for sure, the 1st church folks' faith has been boosted.
And I am sure that they are being blessed by what they saw.

Well, when I asked Lynda about it, she said the last she'd heard was the surface blood clot thing and she does stay in close contact with her Mother and Sister...next time I'll just call Sandra.

Yet another fine example why MissBrattified is so appreciated around these parts!

you are once again perfectly accurate!
