As what most here would call an UC, I fellowship with many of the UC camp, and have only seen the harsh things of which I see you and others speak, from the extreme far right cons who aren't sure if they themselves are good enough to be saved, let alone you or I. The truth of the matter is that oneness Pentecostals in general are not the most friendly bunch in the world. In the UPCI, ALJC, PAW, PCAF, PAJC, AWCF, WPF, FBI, CIA, etc, there are clicks and if you are not part of the group it is hard to break in.

Preaching repentance is done by most of the Apostolic churches that I have seen. (There are thousands that I have no true assessment of) In fact most of the churches that I have been associated with throughout the years have had consistent teaching/preaching on repentance. In nearly every conference I have attended, I have heard at least one message on repentance that has brought the majority of the house to their knees weeping before the Lord.

Bro. White used to have as his tag line "conservative not caustic." I personally believe this is how the majority of conservatives are. (I am going to make a comparison here that I may get shot for....here goes anyway) While I am totally against the Muslim/Islamic religion, not all muslims are wacked out, bomb toting extremists. Yet it is those extremists that we hear about, because their ideology and practice is so extreme, and all muslims are judged to a great extent because of these extremists. From what I have been able to see, the crowd of conservatives that you previously ran with were Apostolic extremists. (Did I just say that?) They are men who believe what they believe and are willing to die for those beliefs, (we all should be willing to die for our beliefs) and not afraid to take out anyone (Spiritually and verbally) who opposes them.

I implore you, please do not assume that all cons are this way! I have often said to the UC, I am a liberal, and to the liberal, I am a UC. Where does this place me? BALANCED. IMHO that is where God desires all of us to be.

Be careful not to fall into the trap that has ensnared so many others, which is mirroring the very thing we despise. While decrying the hypocrisy and judgmental attitudes of some, we begin to do the same thing from the other side of the spectrum.
Great insight.

I agree.. dressing "different" (Apostolic) is the easy part of witnessing. Attitude should be our #1 priority... Br. Randy? You're agreeing with the easy part? Do you believe the easy part? or you are saying the easy part is too strict (hard).?

Boy you are really being seperated from everyone. I can not fellowship you any more because you will not wear a skirt and save pentecost from itself and now you have someone that is not UPC that you can no longer fellowship with. Boy you are going to be lonely pretty soon.
