Re: Roll Call....
I guess I would have to concider myself in the ultra liberal camp, I've never really thought about where I would fall in with these catergories. But I do have a "live and let live" mindset and I don't have an issue with other believer's liberties if they partake in them in faith.

Re: Roll Call....
.......yes, I am very conservative but I really didn't consider myself ultra conservative..... but then I started looking over all my pictures from the last 2 years and I noticed that in all of our vacation pics, everytime my children are in the water they are fully dressed! Whether it's at Rock Beach in Wisconsin or the private pool of their uncle, my boys are fully dressed! Even at the Waterpark in the Holiday Inn they were fully dressed and the only reason they got to play in the waterpark was because they were only ones there! Can you imagine having a whole waterpark to yourself? My boys were having a ton of fun!
So yes, I appear to be an ultra con but the real ultra cons kicked me out a long time ago! LOL... jk

Re: Roll Call....
I'm preparing to vote. I need some help.
I confess I'm feeling unsure of myself and vulnerable. I have always thought of myself as a cast iron conservative.
But in AFF terms, since I wear a gold ring, and don't support extra-biblical teaching, I fear I don't qualify as an ultra-con:
I am against embellishment, legalism, and dictatorial leadership.
I don't think Trinitarians are evil. They're just stuck.
I am not especially interested in the quibbling about the minor details, such as how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, or when the rapture will take place.
I think my own, dear UPCI is mistaken in their rule about facial hair.
I question the brick-and-mortar, priest-and-laity modern church structure model.
But I am not exactly a liberal in AFF terms either:
I am for living according to the Bible and Biblical priniciples.
I believe that people should increase their lifestyle's conformance to the bible as they age.
I believe that people who decide to turn loose of some of their early-learned fundaments often turn loose of most of them.
I believe women should not cut their hair, and men should keep theirs short.
I am against mixed bathing.
I believe women should wear skirts and dresses if modesty and femininity are important to them.
I believe people should give at least 10% of their income to the work of God.
I believe that the advent of birth control has allowed the world (and church) to develop an un-Godly view of children.
I believe that the man should be the leader and priest of his home.
I believe in helping my neighbors in person, and stopping to help people stranded on the side of the road.
I believe that principles trump personality, and the spirit with which people partake or abstain is just as important as the act, if not moreso.
So, Prax, Ferd, Pelathais, Scott Hutchinson, and whoever else has jumped in here:
Where does that put me on this chart?
