Also, to blame one member among thousands for the exodus, then why did the exodus continue after that member was banned? This reasoning is not in alignment with cognitive reasoning. They left, because they wanted to, not because someone forced them to.

But, you are right, and I will strive to continue in the right spirit I have attempted to post in the past on this forum.

That was deep.

12,735 post?
When was the Last time you Prayed for 12,735 seconds or read 12,735 words of the bible?

Did anyone get saved because of this? Did this profit the kingdom?

Why glory in such fleshly activity?

For Some one that is to be busy about the fathers buisness;

sure is very busy in every one elses Buisness!

LOL!!! My thoughts exactly. I think Professor Price missed the same thing Ronzo and DA did about my post and that was the word "PART".

I never blamed DA for all of the conservatives leaving but he was certainly a key catalyst in that happening and what he started kept on going long after he was banned.

I don't want to belabor my comments about DA's past on AFF. I only hope he has matured some and will be able to share his intellect in a way that won't be overtly offensive to others.

I hope this is the last time I have to respond to my original post. However I can keep explaining it forever if that is what people want.

Posts like this is what makes me think you will be a great administrator. You probably don't remember, but I told you a long time ago that you would be a good one! We certainly don't see a lot of things eye to eye, but I believe you to have integrity, and also to be fair minded.

The gang couldn't have chosen a better one.

Re: 12,711

Thanks Sarah! Heavens knows I have had my share of bad posts and have at times crossed the line but I try.

Any time deeply held convictions, positions are discussed there is passion and emotion involved and it is easy to post things in haste that should not have been said or could have been said better. Most of us are guilty of that at some time or another and I fully understand. I think the important thing is that we don't try to be inflamnatory intentionally as some sort of sport.

Re: 12,711

CC1,

Different strokes for different folks.

Today's mini-lesson was on author's purpose.

When a writer puts pen to paper or digits to the keyboard ... he/ she has various choices as to what are his/her purpose(s) for writing.

Either:

1. persuade
2. describe
3. entertain
4. explain/inform

As for why people post on and read this forum varies. The concentrations and interests also vary. And so, quite frankly, having read the popular posters here ... I have enjoyed the diversity of writing styles and opinions offered. The ignore feature and or logging off is an option for those who don't like a particular poster's style and/or purpose.

Respectfully,

King Dan
