I forgive, but can't forget.
I don't like to see it continue.

I do not like your comments of I am going to hell over something pathetic.
Many preachers and pastors are Pathetic Coon, and many are UPC.
So yes Coon, it is pathetic Pastors leading UN-suspecting sheep that really bothers me.
I am free, forgiven others and healing.
But it still makes me angry to see it happen to others, while UPC Pastors set back and say, "That's not all UPC pastors and yes it happens", but yet do nothing about it.
While you set and say, A PATHETIC, reason to go to hell???

Yet another perfect example of twisting scripture to fit your agenda.
Oh so they did not rebell against the Word of God?

Everyone gets hurt by people.

Everyone gets wounded.

That doesn't make it right, and those who commit the offences will answer to God, but there is only one message in the Scripture to those who have been hurt:

Forgive, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Period.

We have tried to act like there is some special dispensation for those who have been done wrong by the ministry, but the Bible makes no such provision.

I can promise you that I could match stories with anyone here, most likely, when ot comes to being hurt by ministry. Those who know me can attest to the truth of that statement.

And as for Coop, he will tell you that his old pastor treated him very well, and that he loved him.

His old pastor "repented" to his church for preaching standards, and being so hard, and even this happened, I believe, after Coop had already left there. I stand to be corrected on the timing.

So all this carrying on he does is a little suspect, if you ask me.

And regardless of what the situation was, there is only one message to those who have been wronged: Forgive.

God will deal with the offenders, never fear. They will get their reward, unless they repent.

But I can't think of any more pathetic reason to go to hell than for somebody else's sin. And that will be the case for those who refuse to forgive, and allow it to make them justify thei disobedience.
The text comes to mind.......

Mat 5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute Unregistered, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Seems to me if one was as persecuted as they say they have been, they would be doing a lot more rejoicing than they are.

Satan twisted the truth.
Satan would make an awesome preacher or Pastor. He knows the word like a pro, but can twist in a way to fool you.
Satan used truth against Eve, with a lie at the same time.

But you stated Satan would make a good PASTOR, because he cqan twist the words around. The conclusion is that you feel Pastors do this. More than likely you just weren't clear enough in what you were intending.

Again Satan would make a pretty Good Pastor Just in his knowledge alone, Would he not?
