Did Dan Alicea Write the Script for "Tangled"?
Okay, I have just walked out of the cinema after seeing Disney's newest animated movie "Tangled" and I have to say that if DA did not have a hand in this movie, somebody with an Apostolic background did. The parallels were amazing!
A young girl is held captive by a woman who kidnapped her, raising her as her mother simply because of the "magic power" of her long uncut hair. The mother tells her never to go out into the world that is full of evil. She preaches "mother knows best" and that she is only "protecting" her from the outside world. The mother was so vain about looks herself yet didn't care of depriving her daughter of any freedom simply for the sake of keeping her under her control. Repunzal (the girl) says that if her hair is ever cut that it loses its "magical power". She lays her hair over someone's wound and it heals. The girl at the end with her hair cut short weeps for her deceased boyfriend only to find that the real power within her was love. As a tear drops from her eye, it lands on the young man and he comes back to life.
Come on Dan, fess up! Did you write the screenplay?

Hmmm... I'd like to see it but generally wait for the DVD. Maybe this time I'll treat myself.

A lot of people will probably rejoice that 'the message is getting out'. They'll point to it as evidence of 'the truth'.

I thought that too, but the end disproves the thought.
The girl at the end with her hair cut short weeps for her deceased boyfriend only to find that the real power within her was love. As a tear drops from her eye, it lands on the young man and he comes back to life.
This will be seen as an attack against "the truth" by some.

Re: Did Dan Alicea Write the Script for "Tangled"?
Would this be a good time to contact CNN with a real-life "Tangled" story?

Exactly.
They'll say that 'even the world knows it's true', but the enemy is attacking it.
