I just cannot get a good feel on this. I really like him. He would spank Obama in a debate - hands down! But, I don't know if the American people want him. Somehow, it has the feel of going backward - probably because it's always in front of the people via MSM to feel that way. I just don't know if he could pull it off.

i am with you. to the liberal MSM he is the grinch who stole the 1990s from them. they HATE him and will do everything they can to distroy him... and he has far too often given them unnecessary ammo in the process.

I think he is by far the best person to be president right now and if I could I would "poof" him into the whitehouse.

but can he get elected?

This much I do know, if he runs, he thinks the Republican nominee has a better than 50% chance of winning the whole thing.

agreed. he wants to be president. He is too old to be president via the VP route.

Bush seemed to be a lightweight. Cheney was picked to give him stature.

I always saw Cheney as a strength in the background, but never the forefront. But, that is just my view.
