An organization of white police officers in Cincinnati comparable to the Sentinels which is a group of African American police officers.
White history month
affirmative action or set asides for white males in education and employment
etc.

Whites are not a minority, therefore they are not going to have the organizations that minorities do. I'm sure South Africa has plenty of similar type orgs simply because they are a minority there.

There are similar Latino groups and Asian groups. I don't see the problem with African-American groups forming to help promote their agendas.

I guess no one can think of a single reason that the people felt compelled to start these organizations at the time that they did? I think you need to stop and take a look at what their reality was.
Honestly, I think starting an organization was an extremely tame response when compared to what they were enduring at the time. I hear a lot of people now talk about becoming violent to protect their rights...and their rights are not being anywhere remotely near as violated.
