Boy six is floating through eastern colorado in a homemade balloon!

How did he end up in a balloon by himself? Was it by design?

Apparently the family was on ABC's Wife Swap a while back ... the dad is a science fan and made the balloon with the boy. A "sibling" according to the news said they saw the boy get in the balloon and release the cord holding it to the ground.

I'm hoping the kids are playing a mean joke and the boy is hiding somewhere.

I smell a hoax. The balloon looks way too small to carry a boy into the air.
