Apology to World

We need to apologize to the world for our president apologizing to the world for American arrogrance. I guess he is exempting his arrogrant self? Again, this smells of him believing he is not an American, thus he can apologize, since he is not guilty of being an American.

Then to say that America is NOT considered a Christian nation, tells me again he is NOT a Christian, IMO. I truly believe he is a Muslim wearing sheep clothing.

I also think him bowing to a muslim was no accident.

I am earnestly praying for God to expose the corruption in our government and bring it down. And that is on both sides.

The bolded does not make sense to me.

In fact, the only way his "apology" would make any sense is for him to have apologized knowing that as an American, he shares a piece of the responsibility as to how America is perceived around the world.

However, I thought it was poor judgment for him to address the "ugly American" and "cowboy diplomacy" in this way-- both feed to the prejudice that Americans are arrogant, a prejudice held by many in the world.

He would be better to address these unfortunate circumstances by action and not by word, on an international stage, criticizing (someone come up with a better word please) the folks who helped put him there in the first place.

It was TIC.

In other words, I believe if he was a true American he would be standing up for America and not trying to tear it down. Saying we need to apologize for something we are not guilty of, but that the Muslims want to accuse us of being guilty, therefore, IMO he can apologize since I don't think he truly considers himself an American. I believe he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. I see him as a true Muslim. If you notice he seems to be siding with the Muslims.

In fact, his administration is warning Israel to not attack Iran. That is easy for us (America) to say, since Iran has not threaten to wipe us off the map as they have Israel.

Guess that depends on how you define a "Christian Nation." Is it a nation founded on Christian principles? A nation of Christians? Or does the actions of its general population make it a Christian nation?

The Supreme Court said it was and here is why...

"If we pass beyond these matters to a view of American life, as expressed by its laws, its business, its customs, and its society, we find everywhere a clear recognition of the same truth. Among other matters note the following: The form of oath universally prevailing, concluding with an appeal to the Almighty; the custom of opening sessions of all deliberative bodies and most conventions with prayer; the prefatory words of all wills, "In the name of God, amen;" the laws respecting the observance of the Sabbath, with the general cessation of all secular business, and the closing of courts, legislatures, and other similar public assemblies on that day; the churches and church organizations which abound in every city, town, and hamlet; the multitude of charitable organizations existing everywhere under Christian auspices; the gigantic missionary associations, with general support, and aiming to establish Christian missions in every quarter of the globe. These and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation."

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH v. U.S.
143 U.S. 457

An American container ship has been hijacked near Somalia.
The hi jack staff has the captain as a hostage and the life boat is on it's way to shore. It for some reason has run out of gas. We need to apologize for not topping off the tanks just incase of situations like these. It is so inconsiderate.

was it ever, really?

I realize many did come here for "religious freedom"
but then they turned around and would not allow religious freedom to those who did not believe as they did.

Is the (false) doctrine of "Manifest Destiny" Christian?
Does the genocide and ethnic cleansing and rape and destruction of a whole civilization that was here before "white protestants" represent "Christian" attitudes?

Is a government that continually made, broke, and remade treaties honest?

In Religulous, there is a clip of John McCain saying that the Constitution established the US as a Christian nation. I kid you not.
