So, he bought a router and something called a D-Link (???) and thought he had the problem solved. Now he and my nephew both have internet upstairs on their laptops, and I have NONE downstairs. He has called, D-Link, Bellsouth, and the router people. They all say it's the fault of one of the others. Aaagghhhh! I don't know what to do now.
Sorry for venting, but I miss my friends on here!!! Just wanted to hop on and say HI.

Your son may have added a password to the D-link router that is blocking you.
You may have to turn off your wireless connection on your laptop or PC.
If you do not have wireless access on your PC or laptop.
Spend a few dollars and get a USB wireless adapter.
You will then be wireless as well.
