You're right, this is an ad to remember.
I am concerned, however, about the appearance of these political ads where Vets are the focal point.
If I were a politician, I would not want to score political points off of some Vets traumatic brain injury, or any injury for that matter.
It just don't seem right-- wrong on several levels.
We have a limited freedom of speech, and we aren't at liberty to participate in political functions as military men/women-- if my memory serves me right.
So if as a military man, I'm not supposed to wear my uniform to a political event so as to not give the impression of the military endorsing one person or the other, if I was injured, shouldn't I still be careful to not give the appearance of being unethical by making sure I (or someone else) don't use my injury and status for political gain?
All of these political ads I keep seeing with Vets border on exploitation, and I also think these Vets should reconsider their decisions to get involved in this way.
