Just do me a favor and try to call and let me know you're ok. I know phones may be out, and power off for awhile, but try...please?

Re: Hike away from Ike?
We don't think we are leaving, thus far.
We have a mandatory evacuation. A friend called and said that if you leave after 8:00 p.m. tonight, they won't let you back in.

Re: Hike away from Ike?
We are under mandatory evacuation also, and the storm has just jogged more east closer to us.
My husband thinks he wants to evacuate. The problem could be in getting back in.

I'd thought about that getting back in thing. It's all up in the air once you leave, up to whoever makes those decisions. Bleh. Not a fun decision to make, at all.

I was just on the phone with a friend that is there. She's thinking of leaving, but doesn't know.
My husband's brother said he isn't leaving. That would be just like Tim. lol

I am staying home and riding out the storm.
Please be careful, Esther.
