Well they did have an earthquake not long ago plus Calif has a lot volcano's activity and fault lines as well, so maybe they are related ???

What if the hot spot in California is an unknown "supervolcano" like the one discovered under Yellowstone? There is a lot of geologic and seismic activity going on in California.

I just saw this and thank you for the suggestion. But it doesn't
really bother me at all for anyone to think it is that handsome
white-haired man beside me speaking. Perhaps my words are even
