What initially seemed to be a journalistic scoop of dubious moral propriety now seems to be a case of an Israeli paper being played by the Barack Obama campaign. Maariv, the second most popular newspaper in Israel, was roundly criticized for publishing the note Obama left in the Kotel. But now a Maariv spokesperson says that publication of the note was pre-approved for international publication by the Obama campaign...

"Lord - Protect my family and me," reads the note.
"Forgive me my sins, and help me guard against pride and despair. Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will."
However, it now appears that Maariv had collaborated with the Obama campaign in getting the "private" prayer, with its "modest" supplicaton to the Lord, out to the public, buffing his Christian credentials and showing his "humility."

where are all the obama coolaid drinkers now, lol, i knew it, they dont do anything without orchestration, ala that is why they didnt visit the soldiers in germany, good grief, dt

Its interesting to me that yesterday on another thread I read where someone said McCain could not be trusted , and he/she thought Obama was the more moral candidate.
I wonder what that person thinks now.

Why, I'm shocked that Obama could decieve us into believing the sincerity of his prayer! How could he?!?!?! Of course you realize that no one is going to believe that this was a "stunt".

Obama has to distance himself from the Muslim image that many have of him.
It's all games. While Obama was making his show tour of the world, someone from John McCain's camp "leaked" a report that McCain might make his VP choice public that week. He didn't make it public, but some thought it was a ploy to take some of the publicity away from Obama.
