UPCI Foreign Missions Division Interview

The Apostolic Report recently conducted a Q&A session with Rev. Brian Abernathy from the United Pentecostal Church International. Brian Abernathy is the promotions director for the Foreign Mission Division (FMD) of the UPCI.

It is very interesting, read on past the first couple of questions.

Re: UPCI Foreign Missions Division Interview

I think we need to support forign missions more and more. Nothing is perfect but I don't think anyone has a right to complain that was not supporting any ministry with much prayer and tears first

  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Re: UPCI Foreign Missions Division Interview

That was an interesting interview. I learned some things I had not known before. Thanks for the link.

Since I am NOT UPC I hear lots of things but wonder was is the real amount (percentage) of the missionary's support that stays at headquarters?

Re: UPCI Foreign Missions Division Interview

Are missionaries dumped if they associate with the new orgainization? (WPF)

What are the restrictions that are put on missionaries about fellowship and association?

Why would you not believe Brother Abernathy when he just stated in this article what the amount is? What do you mean by "what is the real amount"?

Re: UPCI Foreign Missions Division Interview

just wondering if percentage is right? I have no reason to disbeleive anyone...I have talked to several UPC missionaries that felt the UPC takes too much out of their budget...

I do not know Bro. Abernathy however I did not mean it to sound I doubted him or anyone however some have said different things to me and up till now have never repeated them using their names and do not plan to betray trust....I was just wondering if other UPC missionaries wrote here.
I meant no harm at all. Sorry if I sounded like I meant harm.
Maybe I have said something I should not have? Sorry if I offended you in anyway.
