Where did people get this fanciful idea that God is fair? God isn’t fair…God is just. There’s a big difference. God may do some things that we wouldn’t consider “fair” according to our limited human understanding. However, God is “just” and we can be assured that what he chooses to do according to his divine and all knowing perspective will always be just and right though it appears to be unfair.
I don’t buy soul sleep.
Paul said that for the believer, namely himself, to be absent from the body (as in death) is to be present with the Lord.
In the Revelation the souls of the martyrs stand below the altar crying out for justice against their murderers.
