Let me tell you. I live in a flat land surrounded by the Los Padres National Forest and the Angeles national forest.
Fire in Santa Barbara, Santa Clarita, Camarillo/Moorpark, Castaic area and Malibu.
At 2:00 PM I looked out the window and it was so dark it could have been 7:00 PM
The whole city was nothing but smoke and ashes. You can smell burning wood for miles everywhere you go. It gets in the house too. It's nasty. This happens every year but I don't recall it being this bad and the winds blowing so hard during fire season...(santa ana winds)
