Indeed it was my very high honor to have Tim Landry as my guest last Saturday. He arrived around 10 AM and spent most of the day with me.
The wife fixed breakfast for him and another minister and family who had spent the night. She fixed a good cajun breakfast which included grits, redeye gravy, bacon, bit ol' cathead biscuits among other things. Of course we had some good Louisiana Blue Ribbon Cane Syrup to go with the biscuits too.
The visit was great. I expressed to him our desire to see him back on our forum. Told him on the behalf of all of the rest of us how much we miss his very excellent writings and the historical notes that he made from time to time.
So, before he left, I took his picture. I also took one of him and I together but that picture broke the camera. It took me a while to get it fixed.
So here he is. A great guy with a great personality who honored me with a great visit.
