Clothing, where do you draw the line
In a thread where a picture of a young lady was posted with a low nickline, revealing more cleavage than I think a Pentecostal lady should, it was basically argued that this was just fine.
My question to you is where do you draw the line? We have had one Pastor here, who shall be nickless, talk about running around in public in speedos. Is there a limit? Do you draw the line anywhere? Would you approve of Christians who go to nudest colonies? Is anything ok?

- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I am a prude!
I still believe in modesty.
Yet, I do not dangle people over Hell as they have to make up their own mind
about what is modest.

I draw the line on what I wear, anyone else can put on or off whatever they want.

What struck me as a bit peculiar was how you went from a young Christan girl's low neckline to people that would approve of Christians going to a nudest colony in just two paragraphs!
If you saw that same young lady in a mall, restaurant, wherever, would you have treated her differently by the attire that she wore knowing she was a pentecostal versus a baptist young lady? Would you be so fixated on details of dress that had nothing to do with the state of her soul and walk with the Lord that you would perhaps say something that would offend her faith?
We all make mistakes and choices we may regret not only in our youth, but throughout our lives. Isn't that what grace is all about? What the church needs today is a revelation of grace!
I am so glad that I have a friend in Jesus as well as a Father who loves me unconditionally and it is his grace that keeps me when I may not make the best decisions. It is very presumptuous to assume that a girl's salvation is in question over matters such as her neckline when we are not to judge on such matters. We can only be responsible to follow the leading of God's Spirit regarding our own safeguards of modesty.

The last time I used the line to dry clothes, I put my sheets and comforter out to dry on a nice sunny day. Well, i was not happy to realize the birds had flown by and had left their mark. Yuk! Never again! Not me! lol

But what exactly is modest? Where do you draw the line on women? Cleavage? Slits? Thighs?
