Is America the Greatest Country In the World???

America was the first country founded on an idea: liberty.
the first country with a peaceful transfer of power.
the first country based on freedom of worship.
the country that has given the most in blood and treasure to fight for freedom around the world.

But, because we are turning from godly principles, it seems doubtful that we can keep what we have

In ancient Rome the proletariat were the lowest of the rung of the empire.
Marxists used that term for the workers, laborers and now with cultural Marxism which Aquila is somewhat a part of, we have the minority proletariat. Certain special groups are the ones who are separated as special cases who need help. Therefore the larger collective need to make special efforts to help these groups, and protect these groups outside of what spiritual help can supply.

Yes we have problems, but we are solving them.

Liberals love to point out what is wrong with America, yet they never point out what is right with America.

Liberals love to point out what is right in other countries, yet they never point out what is wrong in other countries.

In a rating that takes the totality of all the good points and the bad points in America and measure them against those of other countries, yes indeed America is the greatest.

You know that's gobblygook. If America doesn't even rank in the top 10 with regards to education, what makes up for that, our best paid basketball players? If we don't even rank within the top 20 with regards to healthcare, what makes up for that, the number of people that believe in Big Foot?

I know Conservatives are always saying liberals are always pointing out what's wrong with America. However, you can't address a problem until you're willing to see it and acknowledge it must be addressed.

From the liberal side of the fence, when we point out that we're falling woefully behind other nations, it seems like conservatives just poopoo it and pat us on the head saying, "The answer is more tax cuts for the rich, my friend!" Or, "The answer is homeschooling!" Or, "The answer is allowing insurance companies to deny coverage to more people."

Anything any other country can do, we can do better. Meanwhile, the conservatives chant in the stands with their big foam fingers, "We're nummer one! We're nummer one!"

Guys, we're not number one any more. You have to let that reality set in so that we can turn this ship around. It isn't going to turn on a dime. So, the sooner we start, the better.
