This doesn't mean a person is great when they do great things? Okay....

You need to call Sean Hannity and get a job with him at Fox.
Oh come on, PO...read the quote again.

TRUMP: "If he says great things about me, I’m going to say great things about him. I’ve already said he is very much of a leader. The man has very strong control of his country."

That's also not the quote they used in the ad. The quote they used in the ad was Trump calling Putin a "strong" leader, not a "great" leader; and Pence saying Putin was a "stronger leader than Obama," again not a "greater leader."

Perhaps you should work for the Clinton/Kaine ticket.

There wasn't much of being "on the record." No presser or press release about this promise. Basically Cruz sold his endorsement and cheerleading for Trump adding a name to a list -- and more importantly to ensure Trump won't cause Cruz any issues with his re-election.

Cruz met Pence 9/13, Thiel's name was mentioned in the news 9/15, and Trump's updated SCOTUS list came out 9/23. Thiel's name hasn't been on any list. Thiel claimed it was a conversation between himself and Trump.
Right, Thiel is not on the list or Cruz wouldn't have gone along with it. All the other news junk is media speculation.

I can hear violins playing. Break out the bubbly.

His words are what cause him trouble.

Okay, PO. I'm not going to continue. The ad was deceptive and wrong. The quotes used in the ad were not what was actually said.

I've done enough to defend a guy I'm not even going to vote for next month!

It probably would be better if you didn't continue defending the ad.
