Nothing to see here,folks
This was nothing but work place violence. Islam had nothing to do with it. You have no reason to distrust the millions of American citizen Muslims all around us, working with us.

I have two mosques within five miles of me. One is less than a mile away. I have thought for years "I wonder if/when someone connected to these mosques will decide to become a martyr for allah."
Islam has a problem. The koran absolutely teaches killing in the name of its god.

so does the Bible, if you read it wrong, DB. The Beginning of Sur'ahs expressly forbids violence in pursuit of Islam, and condemns those who associate the two. Page 1.

A lot of Muslims misreading the koran at a higher percentage than Christians reading the Bible if that's the case. How many acts of terror in the name of Jesus have occurred in the past 30 years Shaz? Ever wonder why there is a disproportionate percentage of Muslims killing themselves and others for the sake of allah then Christians in the name of Jesus?

You hit on something and might not have known it.
In some parts of the world, where Islam is practiced, there will be one or two people who can actually read the koran and the rest of the people will listen to them, their interpretations, their spin. I have even met people who were admittedly illiterate, but were confident in their own ability to read the koran to others! There were madrassas around the world where the teachers would teach a perverted view of Islam to their student (young men and even children).
However, most terrorist attacks are carried out by educated people-- people that have had the opportunity to be exposed to a rational form of their religion and simply choose to reject the notion of peaceful co-existence.
