Church dedication tonight

We were in an awesome service in a typical little muddy pothole village tonight. The little building was busting out the sides and people standing in the misty rain. I thought about you folks and wished you could have been with me to see the "real" mission field...it's joys, it's hardships, it's poverty yet so much love for the Lord.
Those sweet little people had made a huge cake for us and even bought drinks... I wept because I knew the chairs were rented yet what little they had they spent it all to receive us...
I thought you might like to buy them a little plastic chair for their building. Chairs cost about 15 dollars. To them a fortune to you a trip to McDonalds. If you would like to help them you may by sending an offering for a chair to my home address and I will see that they get it...Such a small amount...if 50 people bought them a chair then their little rented hall would be blessed...
I can’t help but hear Jesus say, Lovest thou me?

Put us down for ten chairs, but you'll have to send me your address again. I keep losing it!!

When we were in Kenya, they always brought us cold Cokes and Fantas after service. There's no telling where they had to go to get them, but they were always waiting at the end of service. They rarely have ice or cold drinks anywhere in that area, but they know we Americans like them cold. I am not supposed to have any caffeine, because of my heart, but I just drank those Cokes in Jesus' name. There was no way I could refuse them!

Oh Sister Alvear, You made me WEEP!!!!!!!!!! I have preached all over the world and seen it all and it still affects me so deeply when I see and hear of needs like this. Most people have no idea the incredible sacrifice of the missionary. I will share this with CHURCH ALIVE on Sunday and we will sow into this need. We will do our best to buy at least 10 chairs. Thank you for sharing this with us. We so love and appreciate you.

Early this morning as my son Michael was preparing to leave with a team for another state to evangelize I felt such a burden for the millions that perish. I was so overwhelmed wanting to help these people but just last week I called my bank and borrowed 5000 dollars for a special need in South Brazil and really I just don't have it as the load is soooooooooooo heavy. Opening the new mission station in the jungle and on the extreme side of Brazil reaching out trying to help them and a little work in Paraguay plus building our convention center in south Brazil is a big load. Not even thinking about the things in this area which is unbelievable all that is being done...It is only God that helps us.
Every week we through whoever God chooses to be His blessing helps many, many people and works.
It seems God always prepares channels to meet the needs. Thank all those that have helped in any project and especially thank you for your prayers.

On this forum that some criticize I have found so many precious people that are sold out to God and to His work. Thank you for being one of them.

Sis. Alvear, I got your envelope in the mail today. Thank you so much, on behalf of the Kenyans!! I will let you know exactly what was done with this blessing.

By the way, I see that you are from somewhere around Decatursville/Parsons area. Is that right? What is your connection there?

I am really not from there. A sister has a thrit for missions store (kinda like a goodwill) and she helps us so I did the exchange for the young people here through her store account.
I am really from Arkansas...and work out of a church in La that the pastor used to pastor in Arkansas. It was a mission work off Brother Holmes church...
What are the dates of your trip to the Philippines?
Love you all and glad it arrived. I will tell our young people. Blessing to you.
