I Met Drama Queen & NLYP Today!

Dan and Tiffany came by the church this afternoon and spent a while with me, and then met Eddie right before we had to leave for church in Savannah. I gave them the grand tour, and it's a good thing Dan knew how to turn on the sanctuary lights or he wouldn't have seen much of anything. I had never even turned on the lights before!!! They were having dinner with another pastor and his wife here who are friends of ours, but we couldn't stay.

I thought we were meeting for lunch today, but we all got our signals crossed and didn't get together until later. Oh well...

They were great and we had a good time together. They got one picture of the four of us before we had to leave, so maybe they will post it on here later. She is just too cute!! They are leaving for Louisiana tomorrow morning.

Yeah right. It was that timing thing again!! I am glad you got to meet them. They were a hoot on the phone the other day when we were trying to plan meeting up.

So did you convert him while he was there? Is he looking our way???

He walked in the office and said "Get right or get left". It was hilarious! He took a lot of pictures at church; they loved the way it was set up.

Phyllis used to live next door to Tiffany's mom and family in Morris Chapel. How weird is that????

He told me that when he saw you that he was going to tell you that.

When I found out who their family is, I was tripping. Just knowing that we have known them all these years. What was Tiff's maiden name? Do you know?

Oh boy, she told me, but I didn't recognize it so it didn't stick with me. I've known Dan's mom for a while now, because I run into her all the time in Jackson. We don't eat at Shoney's that much, but I promise you EVERY TIME I've been in there, she has been there. It's the weirdest thing!!

I'll have to ask Mary Lou. She knows them. I'm curious to find out if I would recognize her name from younger years.
