I blame the GOP's refusal to fight like they are in a war for much of this decline. The GOP must get nasty and say shocking, challenging, and provoking things to get the media's and public's attention. They continue to allow themselves to be defined by the liberal press.
People in larger numbers are starting to believe that all of our problems stem from the rich not paying enough taxes and the GOP not allowing taxes to be raised on the wealthy. Such ignorant fools will be easily persuaded to put on the " brown shirts" and , in the name of " social justice" begin spying on their neighbors, smashing churches and businesses, and confiscating property.
This is all happening right under the noses of a sleeping church! This pathetic, milk toast bunch of Christians today would have denounced the American Revolution as " rebellion" and urged people not to get involved. Would most of them take part in a modern battle of Lexington or Concord? No way!! Friends, freedom will not be preserved without the shedding of blood. Sorry, but it's true. That is the history of America and the world. Stop looking for a rapture and start looking for a rifle.

I don't mean to sound super-spiritual, because I realize the importance of protecting one's rights and the rights of one's children, however I find the statement in bold troubling.
My trust, is and never has been in the hands of the Republican Party. Obama may be President, but I will still faithfully give to the ministry, and expect to be blessed. I still obey God and leadership and expect God to show me unmerited favor. I see the wicked state of man indeed, however I also trust in God's hand to deliver his people. If this would move the saints to pray and cry aloud and stop putting so much stock in political parties ( because there's wickedness in the Republican ranks too) but rather put our stock in prayer... I believe this nation could be swept with a spirit of repentance somewhere down the road.
