It is my understanding that Bain took over many businesses which were struggling and failing. Some could be salvaged and some could not.

No if you are the head of a company whose job it is is to make that company profitable then profits IS the issue.

bingo ,talk to the people at Staples i think they appreciate Bain, It aint my job to make you rich DM as a business owner, i just care about how much money i can make and i wanna make a lot more than you.

Last time I checked he created jobs by making profits.
It works together.
I got news for socialist left wingers supporting Obama:
You can't create jobs without investing in companies.
You can't run companies with a loss.
You can also not run companies without rewarding
outstanding workers who come up with new ideas to improve
PROFIT.
Without PROFIT people start to depend on hand outs from the
grovernment..... many people are to lazy to look after
themselves......"you don't work...you don't eat" sounds familiar?
