Remission and forgiveness are the same thing. If you spoke and read Greek, not English, you would never have this idea that forgiven sins still need to be 'remitted'.

Remission is cancellation of a debt, as is forgiveness. 'Forgive us our debts' etc.

Acts 2:38 , KJV, not Greek, English, yes. what seems to be your problem with English, let alone Greek? seems you protest to much!

I have no problem with English. But basing a doctrine on a translator's use of a synonym is hardly 'sound'.
