By teaming up in caucus states they can deny Santorum delegates. This gives Ron Paul delegates he would not have gotten otherwise, and Romney would much rather they go to Paul then Santorum at this point. It's tricky and even dirty, but it's the nature of politics. I have no illusion... I know if things were reversed other candidates would likely do the same.

I see what you are saying. It's just that the news has talked about how Paul didn't hit Romney as hard in the debates because he had a backroom deal going. Rand denies it, but it looks fishy.
I don't think anyone should drop out. I want them to deny Romney the 1,114 delegates he needs. The reason I want this to happen is that voting is down in the primaries and Romney may be winning, but he isn't winning by a landslide. If he was doing so well, nothing any candidate was doing would stop him from, handily, getting to his goal. He isn't doing that well.
