Spending Cuts Will Slow Economic Recovery?
In an article entitled, "The Challenge of Belt-Tightening" in USA Today this morning I read to my dismay that Democrats are arguing that "steep reductions could stall the slow economic recovery."
Good night! What planet do these morons come from? Why can't we get rid of the whole bunch of them, bring in all new Congressmen and women, people who live in the real world, pay their bills, balance their checkbooks and live responsibly, and turn them loose on the political establishment in DC! I'm so sick of these idiots! I'm almost to the point of believing they all are conspiring together to destroy our way of life.
Spending cuts will slow the economy? Give me a break...

Re: Spending Cuts Will Slow Economic Recovery?
What kind of spending cuts are they talking about? I haven't heard, but I will go on their website. The only cuts that I think would slow the economy is the ones that will take the money out of the working class, and the people that don't have jobs to be cut.

"Their economy" is having the largest possible number of people dependent upon their largess. Unfortunately, "their largess" comes out of YOUR wallet.
It a purely Keynesian mindset. A mind set in concrete and sunk to the bottom of the Potomac. They MUST micro-manage every aspect of our lives. John Kenneth Galbraith (FDR's leading Keynesian economist) boasted about how much control they enjoyed during the rationing regime imposed during WW2. He laughed at all the metal drives and how people would round up old pots and pans. After the war he said how "useless" that whole program was. It contributed nothing to the national output of steel. But it did give the gov't more control, he said, as well as making the people "feel good" about something.
Think of that when they tell you what kind of car you have to drive.

The gov't doesn't fund nor does it support "the working class." The working class by definition leaves off of its own means and ability to produce. We need to cut spending because the money is coming out of our children's pockets. This is the worst sort of vampirism imaginable. We're literally feeding off our young. We're sucking the life right out their hopes and dreams.
It's sick.

Do these guys think that this is some kind of game?

Oh but you misunderstood them. They are not "spending" they are "investing!"
I made an investment in an IRA, and the best of memory, the money came out of my pocket to "invest"in an IRA.
Somebody's!!! got to pay for the investments.
Invest in school, roads, etc. Good idea if you got the money to do it. "We don't got the money, BO."
BO don't mean we're "Bout Out" of money. We are OUT! OUT! OUT! To the point of borrowing.
My old dad, whose has left us, told me years ago, "Son, you can't borrow yourself out of debt!"
Did you hear that BO?
