Have you attended a Muslim or Hindu Wedding... ?
And did you bring a gift?
Or any other religion for that matter other than a Judeo-Christian one?
How did you know these individuals? A work colleague? Neighbor?
** Admin ... can you change poll question to "Would" you attend ....

Re: Have you attended a Muslim or Hindu Wedding...
I would attend if invited and I would bring a gift .... I might even give a gift if not invited.
Would I be approving of their sin (the first commandment) and idolatry?

Explain how ... the lifestyle represented at the Non-Judeo Christian one is permeating with an ungodly lifestyle of paganism, idolatry, etc ..
A covenant is being made on that very premise with the blessing and sanctioning for this union premised on this lifestyle and false god.
As one friend said on facebook who would not attend a gay wedding or a non-Judeo Christian wedding:
"What do you say when you shake their hand? Congratulations? It's not to say you condemn them every time you see them or speak with them, but a wedding ceremony is a big deal. The sanctity of marriage is a big deal."

Re: Have you attended a Muslim or Hindu Wedding...
Aren't we told that everything we do in action and in deed be done in the name of Jesus? (for my 3 stepper friends every time "in Jesus name" or "in the name of Christ/the Lord" is in the bible they think it means to invoke the proper name ... so they spend most of their day saying "Jesus".)
Are you celebrating this pagan service, because that's what it is ... in Jesus name?
Jest askin'

I wasn't invited to your wedding, Daniel. I am hurt and offended. You should have had an online wedding.

First of all I say weddings should be recognized for all faiths or lack of beliefs inspite of them being non Christian. I met a friend whose wedding I attended many years ago. It was his second marriage and his second wife was a former nun. The wedding was formal catholic. Where things get sticky is if they have multiple wives. I would be wierded out attending such a wedding.

Re: Have you attended a Muslim or Hindu Wedding...
I would not attend a Muslim wedding, knowing how they treat women. I worked for a Muslim family, and when in public, the wife had to be covered from head to toe. And literally walk behind him. And yet some of the men were very interested in non-Muslim women.
