I tried to avoid the carnage....

Since we were travelling, we are happy to report we avoided participation in the 2007 Thanksgiving Turkey Holocaust. Yes, thousands died in service to our great US Holiday.

I am not a tree hugger, and would have welcomed a nice plate of leftover homemade dark bread with piles of mayonaise, slabs of white and dark meat, potatoes, cranberry sauce, and dressing. Best served with ample portions of gravy open faced.

For the adventuresome, I offer this link

A McRib Sandwich in Chicago did not make a good substitute. We did have porky the pig on Saturday Nov 18th at a large Family Festival.

Included Pumpkin Pie with Maple Crumb topping.... Oh the taste!
