Ideas of How to make UPCI GC Financially Solvent!

With some of the brightest minds on the planet that peruse this forum, I thought a thread of suggestions would be most useful for the GC committee!

I'll go first!

Bid out PA system, internet broadcast, and video services. There is more than one company that could do a great job with these. A bidding process could possibly save thousands! (I apologize if this is already being done!)

How about the preachers taking the podium for travel expenses only?

How about a 5 minute offering and speech instead of the 2 hour affair they insist on having that drive the masses from their seats even if they were there in the first place.

Have a development drive where for every $100 people spend on new clothing for GC, they send in $20 to support GC.

Raise ministerial dues.

Open the business sessions for video and teleconference, and have those ministers who would otherwise have spent money to attend send it into the general fund.

Scratch theatric lighting from the budget.

Put time limitations on sermons, offerings (above), speeches, special interests in order to save utilities.
