I Am A Proud Father Tonight

The reason that I am a proud Father is not because the wife had a baby...not by the hair of your chinny-chin-chin.

Tonight I just learned that my son David N. Strange has just been elevated to the position of equal and full partner to one of the most prestiegous law firms in the state of Texas with offices thoughout the state, with main office in Amarillo.

Recently, he was appointed as a Law Professor at Texas Tech university. Now he has been given full partnership in the law firm of Whittenberg, Whittenberg, Stein and Strange. There will be a special celebration dinner with the partners together with the Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice in his honor.

He did quite well in law school, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Houston Law School. The law firm that he now enjoys his relationship with watched him throughout his school career and offered him a position with the firm a full year before he graduated.

But, even though I am proud of my dear boy, I can't take credit. He got both looks and brains from his mother. I just paid the bills while he was in school.

Thanks LS...

My buttons on this shirt are kind of tight right now. I need to exhale.

Tell CS, if he ever accepts a pastorate in Texas, he has some heavyweights on his side. LOL...
