Yep, very true. Of course, if a conservative says it, it must be a lie from "that filthy Faux News!". Since it's a liberal, it'll just get covered up and the author of the article will probably find themselves on the street (or stuck in re-education/re-indoctrination).

Ah, that would explain it. I don't read Bloomberg, so I was going by the title that Originalist posted.

Even a liberal rag lets the truth slip through every now and then.

Re: Liberal Bloomberg on Single Payer

Bloomberg is a social liberal who is on the right of most liberals on economics. So, no one should be surprised about his opinion. The writer of the article is, Megan McArdle. Her views shifted from liberal to libertarian throughout he her career. She's married to Peter Suderman, an associate editor for the libertarian Reason magazine, in 2010.

Bloomberg is a Wall Street liberal. Bloomberg ran as a Republican for goodness sake. Megan is hardly a liberal. Therefore, anyone who thinks this is a liberal analysis of Single Payer is an idiot. Do your homework.

Here are some links for those wanting accurate information on single payer:

Anyone who thinks I said this is a liberal analysis of single payer is an idiot. But as usual, you did not read the article or critique it on its merits. I understand why, however. The author blew your silly theories out of the water.

I only explained that it's not a liberal publication. Nor are the opinions presented liberal.

Second, Megan McArdle offered nothing but the same tired old anarcho-capitalist arguments against Single Payer.

There's nothing new here.

They completely neutralize every argument you have.

And you do realize a Constitutional amendment would be required to have single payer? The left won't be able to eliminate the need for such of amendment this time by labeling it a tax.

That's debatable.

What I do know is that if enough people lose coverage under Trumpcare, there will be a national outcry for Single-Payer.

Trust me, it's coming.
