Bread of life

Bethlehem means House of Bread. Jesus was bread of life laid in a manger. .. a feeding trough. In the town called House of Bread.

At the last supper before his death he said the bread stood for his body and the wine his blood. He said that believing on him is how we eat the bread of life in John 6.

From his birth to his death the concept of God to give eternal life was stressed. It was the cross that made it possible to feast on the bread of eternal life that came in the town called House of Bread.
