He did not flip flopped, he simply explained and clarified a misunderstood statement.

He said twice there should be a punishment against a woman who gets an abortion.

After getting denounced for his statement, he flip flops and posts a new statement which says:"...the doctor or any other person performing this illegal act upon a woman would be held legally responsible, not the woman."

First statement "woman should be punished." Second statement "not the woman."

He totally flip flopped.

he did not flip flopped, in his first statement I do not see where he mentions the word "woman".

You are simply with you imagination are adding the word "woman" to his statement.

It's quite clear. He was asked and answered the question directly. The question was referring to women who get abortions and if they should be punished.

I'm not adding anything to what Trump said. Nor am I imagining it.

It was all theoretical and he was simply proposing a possible course of action.
but that was not his only course of action, which means he has the intelligence to offer different solutions.

his ability to modify slightly his position is a proof of his intelligence.
