First, Trump continues his lie that the picture of his wife came directly from Ted Cruz. Trump refused to acknowledge the picture he re-tweeted of Cruz's wife was wrong. In fact, he even claimed he didn't know it was a bad picture of Heidi, which continues his insult of her.
Remember that NY Times interview in which Trump is alleged to be much more compromising with his so-called tough immigration policy?
Here, again, we have Trump walking back statements he previously made. In this interview, Trump was pressed about how his 45% tariff would hurt the Wisconsin economy. Trump stated "that (the tariff) will never happen." He went on to say you have to have some kind of a threat in order to deal with trade negotiations.
Again, how can anyone trust what Trump claims? His signature issue, immigration, is weaker than he claims; and now we learn that his 45% tariff against China is just a big bluff.
With which other issue is Trump bluffing?
Also, Trump started talking again about how HE was first to say the US should leave NATO. Like immigration, Trump was the man who initiated the discussion from which now so many people say, "Trump is right."
Trump, please.
Leaving NATO has been mentioned far before Trump brought it up last week.
Headline from the NY Times opinion, back in 2013: "TIME FOR THE UNITED STATES TO LEAVE NATO."

Trump must have read the NY Times or another paper about this, because the idea or discussion did NOT originate with Trump.
In fact, Trump likes to read and then use information which didn't originate with him.
Sykes nailed Trump on Trump's claim that Wisconsin was billions in debt. Trump said it was Time Magazine's fault, because he had read the Time's report and said "verbatim" what was in that report. Trump wasn't wrong, nope, Time Magazine was wrong.
Listen to the interview. Sykes did a great job and Trump shows why he doesn't want to debate Cruz on the issues. He's awful at debating and facing Cruz one on one would be really ugly for Trump.
