President's "Wait & See" w Chicago Police Shooting
Funny how our President was quick to judge and condemn in the Furgusen police shooting and the Baltimore incident, but is uncharacteristically quiet in the case of a Chicago police officer killing a black teenager a year ago, with the videotape just surfacing recently.
Anyone want to speculate why this sudden change in patterns of behavior?

Maybe he is learning to not be so quick to speak out?
I watched one of the videos for that incident and I honestly don't understand how it took so long to begin the prosecution process for the police officer involved.
I mean, I understand how things work, but there does not appear to be any justification for the shooting or for how long it has taken to get to the point of prosecuting this police officer who made a very bad decision that cost a kid his life.

Perhaps the fact that Rahm is a close friend of President Obama, perhaps because Rahm is a part of the same Chicago machine that brought Obama to prominence. Perhaps because it appears Rahm kept the video from the public until AFTER his reelection campaign. Perhaps it is a political hot potato that BO doesn't want to touch.

Re: President's "Wait & See" w Chicago Police Shoo
Democrats play the black community. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. As a 93-98% voting bloc for the Dems, the AA community is taken for granted, and taken advantage of. This is not only a Democrat mayor, he was the former chief of staff of Obama and also a former advisor to the Clintons. There are protestors in the streets calling for his resignation. It seems very fishy that this video was suppressed until after his reelection.

You are right. It does seem fishy.
However, it is common practice, unfortunately, for the some law enforcement agencies to withhold video evidence that might incite a strong public backlash. Within the last few years, it has happened in Delaware, New Jersey, and I think I remember a case in Georgia too where the video of a police officer doing something dirty and even murderous was NOT released to the public until a year or more after the event.
