Rev, Lance Appleton Passed Away
Preacher, singer/songwriter Lance Appleton has finished his course and transitioned to his eternal reward.
I remember his ministry as a young man and sang several of his songs. Probably his most famous song was "I'm a one God, Apostolic, tongue talking, holy-roller, born again believer in the liberating power of Jesus name!" And quite an incredible musician as well (piano and harmonica.)
Visitation for Bro. Lance Appleton Friday 5-8 pm the funeral will be 11 am Sat all at the church.

I met him years ago and found him to be very inspirational-- both he and his son.

I never knew Lance Appleton, but am certainly familiar with the song he wrote. Will pray for comfort for the family.

Came to our church many times. He could really connect with the youth. He always had that new convert excitement.
